Crafts Collector (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our iOS application and how it is used.
The short version: We do not collect, store, or share any personal information about you. The only data we collect is anonymous, aggregated diagnostic telemetry used solely to understand app performance and stability.
Information We Collect
We collect anonymous operational telemetry only. This includes:
- Event counts (e.g., how many times a screen is opened, buttons tapped)
- Performance metrics (e.g., load times, error rates)
- Crash and stability signals
This data is sent via OpenTelemetry to Grafana Cloud for monitoring and observability. It does not include your name, email address, device identifier, IP address, location, or any other information that could identify you personally.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- Name, email, or contact information
- Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, etc.)
- Location data
- Health or financial data
- User-generated content
- Browsing history or usage data tied to an individual
- Cookies or tracking technologies
How We Use Collected Data
The anonymous telemetry data we collect is used exclusively to:
- Monitor app health and performance
- Diagnose crashes and errors
- Improve app stability and user experience
This data is never used for advertising, profiling, or sold to third parties.
Third-Party Services
We use Grafana Cloud to receive and display our telemetry data. Grafana receives only the anonymous event data described above. Please refer to Grafana's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle data on their platform.
We use OpenTelemetry, an open-source observability framework, to collect and transmit this data. OpenTelemetry does not independently store or process your data.
Data Retention
Anonymous telemetry data is retained in Grafana Cloud for operational purposes in accordance with our Grafana plan settings. Because this data contains no personal information, it is not subject to deletion requests; however, we regularly purge old data as a matter of good practice.
Children's Privacy
Our app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we collect no personal information from any user, this app is safe for all ages from a data-privacy perspective.
Your Rights
Because we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is no personal data associated with you for us to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions or concerns, you are always welcome to contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
